The BGS acquired digital aeromagnetic surveys carried out by Hunting Geology and Geophysics Ltd over the UK Atlantic margin in the 1970s and early 1980s and incorporated them into the national archive. The dataset comprises 91 350 line-kilometres and line spacing varies from 2 km to 10 km.
