  • 1999 – 2004 : Lecturer in Earth Sciences at Liverpool John Moores University
  • 1996 – 1999 : PhD at University of Wales, Aberystwyth

Research interests

  • The use of light stable isotopes as tracers to help us understand nutrient cycling and the impact of pollution on the environment. Light stable isotopes applications in science-based archaeology. Including carbon, nitrogen and sulphur analysis of organic materials (collagen, hair, archaeobotanical samples) and oxygen isotopes in bioapatite. Stable isotopes as environmental change proxies.
