The British Geological Survey (BGS) is pleased to welcome Patrick Gray, our new Head of Digital Products, Ideation and Enterprise (DPIE).
Patrick comes with a wealth of data, product and partnership management experience across a variety of commercial markets. He has a keen interest in unlocking the full potential of data and of working collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and realise tangible and sustainable economic, societal and environmental benefits from data.
Prof Katherine Royse, BGS Chief Digital Officer, says: ‘I am delighted to welcome Patrick to BGS and I am very much looking forward to working with Patrick and the rest of the team in DPIE to further unlock the value of BGS data to a wider range of users.’
Patrick says: ‘The opportunity to maximise the potential of BGS’s digital assets in addressing real-world subsurface problems is very exciting. I look forward to contributing towards the continued development, maintenance and delivery of geospatial digital products, from ideation and R&D through to delivery and scaling-up, and in particular appreciating the benefits these realise.’
Patrick will be a member of the DPIE team, reporting into Prof Royse.
