Groundwater science
With
our partners, we undertake research into processes that affect groundwater
resources and quality. We have an active programme encompassing groundwater
survey as well as investigating the impacts of extreme events and
environmental change. Our research is underpinned by development
of groundwater models and by our extensive data holdings. We collaborate
with CEH, other institutes, universities as well as the water industry,
both in the UK and overseas. We act as secretariat to the Groundwater
Forum and this helps us to interact with our stakeholders and the public.
