I study the physical and chemical processes that control rock properties and behaviour in the subsurface, from microscale to decimeter scale. My outputs are of direct relevance to socially relevant issues, such as geological storages (carbon dioxide...) and geo-energy production (geothermal...), and also to the understanding of geo-hazards (earthquakes, landslide, volcanism...).
