The British Geological Survey (BGS) has one of the largest databases in the world on the production and trade of minerals. Our experienced team compiles statistics of mineral production and trade for the UK and the world. The data is published as annual books and ad hoc or customised reports to suit particular requirements. The work involves close contact with the minerals industry in the UK and throughout the world.
