The information you provide when registering for a BGSiD account will be used to verify your identify when using iGeology’s crowdsourcing functionality and managed in line with the General Data Protection Regulation. Further information can be found in our Privacy Notice.
To create or use a BGSiD account you must be over 16 years old.
The iGeology app contains functionality that makes use of the user’s current location as determined by their mobile device. The iGeology app asks users to confirm their permission to use this information about their current location before proceeding. This is in addition to the BGS privacy policy.
