An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Virtualisation Engineer based in the Servers and Storage Team, which sits within the BGS IT, Security and Application Development function. This is a new post and comes as part of a dynamic reorganisation and expansion of our IT resources and IT business priorities.
This role will be based at the BGS offices in Edinburgh, which are situated on the Heriot-Watt University campus
Appointment will be at UKRI Pay Band C
Pay Band C starting salary is £25,702 to £27,938 (depending on qualifications and experience)
Full-time – 37 hours a week (a range of flexible working options may be available (including a possible small amount of hybrid/remote working although the majority of the role will require on-site attendance)
