Vacancy – Structural survey geologist (220000RU)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Structural Survey Geologist to join the BGS National and International Geoscience programme at our offices in Edinburgh.

This role will be based at the BGS offices in Edinburgh, which are located on the Heriot-Watt University campus

Appointment will be at UKRI Pay Band D

Pay Band D starting salary is £31,931 to £34,709 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Full-time – 37 hours a week

BGS is currently trialling hybrid working. During non-fieldwork times, some hybrid working may be available, depending on the outcome of the trial. During fieldwork periods the post-holder must be able to travel and work away from home in the UK and possibly overseas for periods of more than one week
