BGS has a considerable amount of data held in its archives and data collections. Much of this information has been indexed and databased allowing you to search and view our data collections online. BGS's most popular databases and vocabularies including data relating to borehole materials, rock and fossil collections, as well as the BGS Rock Classification Scheme and Lexicon are available to search below.
