Virginia joined BGS in January 2005 as a secretary to two Science Directors. Since then, Virginia has been involved in large European Projects such as EPOS, ENVRIFAIR and GeoSeas, supporting the projects and acting as lead communications and administration contact for BGS. She has worked very hard to develop her career, and after gaining the APM Project Manager Qualification, she is managing several externally funded projects, including the global OneGeology initiative.
