Vacancy - Public engagement officer (2200006M)

This role will be based at the BGS Office in London, which is situated in the Natural History Museum in South Kensington. This is a wide-reaching, varied and challenging role, central to the evolving BGS Information Point in London and the implementation of the new Geoscience Discovery Partnership between BGS and the Natural History Museum (NHM). This post will also support the corporate team in delivering the engagement activities of the BGS science strategy, alongside NERC and UKRI’s public engagement strategies.

The role will also lead on the development of geoscience learning and engagement resources.

In addition, the role will support the wider BGS Public Engagement team to manage and integrate a cohesive programme of BGS UK wide public engagement events for targeted audiences.
