A scoping study for a deep geological carbon dioxide storage research facility

This report is the published product of a scoping study by the British Geological Survey (BGS) for a UK deep geological carbon dioxide (CO2)
storage research facility.

This study was funded through the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Infrastructure Fund and Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) Capital programme. The CO2 storage scoping study was announced in the UKRI Innovation Strategy as part of the first £50 million portfolio of investments.
