There is a lot to think about when we visit the coast: the weather, tide times, parking, bags, suncream, lunch, towels, swimmers, bucket and spade… What about choosing a spot on the beach to set up camp? Are you walking the coastal footpath?
What about any cliffs that might be nearby? Did you notice any warning signs?
This picture shows some common things people do at the coast. Have a close look and see if you can spot what the people are doing that might put them at risk.
