Mostly pale grey massive psammite intercalated with thin biotite-rich semipelite and pelitic layers, some quartoze psammite intervals. In parts slumped and channelled sedimentary structures are preserved. |
Definition of Lower Boundary: |
Base of the fairly massive shelfal psammites in the Ordan Shuas (NN 702 957) - Creagan a Choin area (NN 703 955), south of Newtonmore, taken at the incoming of thick quartzose psammites with channels, cross-bedding and slumped sedimentary structures. |

Not seen; cut out to the southeast by the Ericht-Laidon Fault |
