Definition of Lower Boundary: Drawn at base of psammite of the Wadbister Ness Formation where it rests conformably on the Girlsta Limestone.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Drawn at conformable upward passage from semi-pelite of the Wadbister Ness Formation to the Laxfirth Limestone.
Thickness: Approximately 1000 metres.
Geographical Limits: Shetlands, Scotland.
