Definition of Upper Boundary: Drawn at the conformable upward passage from the Coldbeck Limestone Formation to the Scandal Beck Limestone Formation of the Orton Group.
Thickness: Maximum of about 380m in the Stainmore Trough.
Geographical Limits: Ravenstonedale, near Brough, Cumbria.
