Lithological Description: |
A terrace deposit of the Sudbury Formation in the Valley of the Upper Thames upstream of Oxford. Introduced by Whiteman and Rose (1992) to include lower parts of the Wilcote Member of Hey (1986), suggested to correspond with the Gerrards Cross Member downstream (Hey, 1986; Sumbler, 1995), but see also the Combe Sand and Gravel Member (CMBE). |
