Definition of Upper Boundary: Abrupt (probably disconformable) change from limestones to sandstone bed representive base of Mullynagowan Sandstone Member (basal member of Bundoran Shale Formation).
Thickness: About 10m
Geographical Limits: Newtownbutler area of south Co. Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.
Parent Unit: Ballyshannon Limestone Formation (BAL)
