Definition of Upper Boundary: Defined by the base of the overlying Sowerthwaite or Crummack Formations.
Thickness: At least 30m
Geographical Limits: Restricted to the Craven Inliers, North Yorkshire.
Parent Unit: Norber Formation (NORB)
