Definition of Lower Boundary: The top of the conglomerates belonging to the Isle Port Conglomerate Member.
Definition of Upper Boundary: The base of the volcanics forming of the Carrick Volcanic Formation.
Thickness: About 70 m thick.
Geographical Limits: Ayrshire, Scotland.
Parent Unit: Swanshaw Sandstone Formation (SWAS)
