Definition Meta-sediment field identifiable ankerite-pisolite protolith. Comp >50% Mg carbonate, >50% of Mg carbonate is ankerite. Pisoids dominant allochem, >2mm coated grains with smooth regular laminae, usually spherical/ellipsoidal no obvious biogenic structures
