| Drawn at base of Tintern Sandstone Group where it rests conformably on quartz conglomerate of the Quartz Conglomerate Group. (Correlative of Tintern Sandstone Group and Quartz Conglomerate Group- Portishead Beds). |
| Definition of Upper Boundary: |
| Drawn at conformable upward passage from buff-yellow sandstone of Tintern Sandstone Group to limestone of Lower Limestone Shale Group. |
