Hydrogeological field services

BGS offers a number of hydrogeological field services, including:

  • borehole drilling supervision

Groundwater modelling

BGS staff have extensive groundwater modelling experience within the UK and internationally. Our modelling services cover groundwater resources, groundwater quality and groundwater hazards, in addition to investigating how groundwater interacts with other environmental systems and processes.

Groundwater consultancy and project management

BGS staff undertake groundwater-related consultancy for a wide range of customers both in the UK and internationally. We have worked with government departments, regulatory agencies, industry and academia, and have a strong track record in the management of environmental research programmes.
