BGS carried out investigations of the baseline quality of groundwater in Scottish aquifers from 2005 to 2011, as part of a collaboration between BGS and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA). Outputs from this project are presented in a series of reports published between 2006 and 2017, which are available for download.
