Equally, geohazards such as flooding and ground instability may discourage land use for urban development, thereby opening opportunities for GI as a better, more viable investment. This helps to improve urban resilience against natural hazards, while creating spaces for recreation and biodiversity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Demonstration SVGI map<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A demonstration SVGI map is available at 1:50&nbsp;000 scale to provide a case-study example of the data available.
