Her main research interest lies in better understanding the risks and impacts caused by natural hazards on communities and the built environment, taking into account future environmental and socio-economic changes. She is particularly keen on integrating different qualitative and quantitative tools and techniques for assessing susceptibility, exposure, vulnerability and loss to multiple hazards with an outlook on their spatial and temporal interaction. Roxana worked with different stakeholders, across scales and sectors, in national and international projects.
