Summary

Séverine is a French university-trained geologist with a M.Sc. in Geology and Environment and a Postgraduate Specialisation in Geomatics. She worked for over 2 years in England as a GIS professional in different sectors such as housing development, agriculture, environment and climate change resilience. She is now a new member of the GeoAnalytics and Modelling Directorate of the British Geological Survey in Keyworth and working as a Geospatial Data Analyst. As part of both the "Hazard and Resilience Modelling" and "Properties Resources Analysis" teams, her main activity will focus on the maintenance of the existing datasets products (BGSCivils, BGSGeology, GeoSure, etc.) and contribution to the development of new ones.

  • Rocks at surface - Develop a workflow to build a beta version of a BGS rocks at surface product (bare rocks, thin soils over bedrock, boulders, scree and crags)
