  • Data Management principles and guidance (active data management planning)
  • Data analysis and mining the legacy of long-tail geoscience data for future scientific work ("data driven discovery")
  • Delivery and interoperability of data assets (data warehouse-query layers, linked data, semantics - classifications/ontologies, schemas and standards)
  • Digital object or persistent identifiers their use in science and data publishing
  • NERC funded science: long-term data management of valuable data assets underpinning science record and for future re-use
  • Providing a fit-for-purpose data ingestion workflow/system to separate out levels of data ingestion depending upon funding model, strategic priorities or needs
