- 2015 – ongoing:European Plate Observing System (EPOS): Horizon 2020 project aimed at building a European e-infrastructure for accessing and processing geoscience data
- 2011 – 2105 : Science infrastructure for Earth Science Data Preservation (SCIDIP-ES). EU Framework 7 project involving universities and SME’s across Europe to create an e-infrastructure and accompanying standards for the digital preservation of earth science data
- Application of research data management principles particularly metadata standards and to environmental modelling
- Digital preservation of geoscience data – application of emerging techniques to BGS and NERC datasets, and commercial consultancy
