Definition of Upper Boundary: Top of volcanic rocks below sedimentary rocks of Gullane Formation.
Thickness: 380m in Garleton Hills (240m at North Berwick; 257m in Spilmersford Borehole).
Geographical Limits: Little known; thins in all directions.
