The silty mudstones locally display glaebular calcrete profiles including abundant calcareous nodules and thin units of nodular limestone. Records the accumulation of terrestrial scree and alluvial deposits in a fault controlled embayment prior to the establishment of the Clwyd Limestone Group carbonate platform. | ||
