Definition of Lower Boundary: Unconformably overlies Triassic nodular carbonate rock of the "Stotfield Cherty Rock".
Definition of Upper Boundary: Overlain by carbonaceous siltstone and claystone of the Dunrobin Castle Member.
Thickness: 32m
Geographical Limits: Northwest margin of the Inner Moray Firth Basin.
