Lithological Description: Meta-sandstone and meta-siltstone turbidite beds (to 2m) with thinner interbeds of grey meta-mudstone, which is phyllitic towards the base and schistose at the top of the exposed sequence.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Dodman Thrust.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Unseen, offshore, but believed to be the Normannian Thrust.
Thickness: Incomplete, c.1000m onshore.
Geographical Limits: Headland between Mevagissey Bay and Veryan Bay, southeast of thrust between Hemnuck Beach and Gorran Haven, south Cornwall, Channel coast.
