Definition of Upper Boundary: The top of the last main sandstone above the Subcrenatum Marine Band (the base of the Pennine Lower Coal Measures Formation) and below the Listeri Marine Band.
Thickness: Up to 55 thick.
Geographical Limits: South Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.
