Lithological Description: [Obsolete: use COG] Massive or cross-bedded, medium to coarse grained, often pebbly and feldspathic sandstone.
Definition of Lower Boundary: The base of the first main sandstone or sandstones above the Bilinguites Marine Band. If no Marine Bands are proved it is the base of the third (not all of the sandstones may be present) main sandstone or group of sandstones below the top of the Millstone Grit Group.
Definition of Upper Boundary: The top of the first main sandstone or sandstones below the Bilinguites Marine Band. If no Marine Bands are proved it is the top of the third (not all of the sandstones may be present) main sandstone or group of sandstones below the top of the Millstone Grit Group.
Thickness: Up to 213 m thick.
Geographical Limits: Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire.
