This report presents a description and review of the methodology developed by the British Geological Survey (BGS) to produce a national scale assessment dataset of potential corrosivity of the ground beneath the topsoil. This document outlines the background to why the dataset was created, its potential uses and gives a brief description of methodology used to create the dataset. The method has been critically assessed and its fitness for purpose determined by specialists in BGS. |
