Burgess from the original maps with emendations based on the works, published and unpublished, of the following: M.M. Bower, C.R. Burch, I.C. Burgess, K.C. Dunham, P.F. Hicks, J. Kingham, D. Moore, R.B. Richards, A.J. Rowell, J.E. Scanlon, J.S. Turner and A.J. Wells. Published as provisional Solid and Drift editions of 1:63 360 New Series Sheet 40 in 1972. 1:50 000 compilation of map and marginalia by A.
