As BGS internet manager, I have delegated responsibility to manage the main BGS website. I lead a team in the continuous development and maintenance of the BGS website and its hosted sites to promote BGS and NERC-wide activities. Responsibilities include: Managing the development team's workload; Web application development using ColdFusion; Exposing BGS data and information to the global community; Knowledge transfer, exchange and training within the team; Improving the user experience of the BGS website to keep users coming back; Ensuring BGS web applications are accessible and compliant with BGS and industry web development standards.
