  • 2005 –2017 : BGS records officer operational (including science ambassador)
  • 1984 –1986 : Lecturer in Equine Studies at Newark Technical College
  • 1999 –2005 : PA/secretary (part ILEX) to Senior Partner in Law Firm
  • 1979 –1998 : Manager of large equestrian busines , event rider and equestrian coach

Experience

  • 2015 –2016 : Ingestion of large amounts of data from MH during the relocation of the Edinburgh office. Data arrived by articulated lorry loads and assisted identification of data, unloading, relocation and integration , including accessioning processes.
  • 2013 –2015 : overseeing of map project and liasion with ex cartography staff to identify and catagorise docs in J block and K block. indexing and relocation etc. in addition consolodation and reordering/locating of existing maps in NGRC - Spacifically to make room for data from MH.
  • 2005 – ongoing : Data collection and ingestion - internal and external collection of data. Particularly collection of data from offices being vacated by BGS staff after many years. Delicate but firm negotiation needed.
