My day involves listening, learning, talking and writing about science and the amazing people who make it happen. I've been awed by everything from microscopic fossils to the geology on mars.

It’s my job to share research, plans, discoveries and adventures with all our stakeholders, from the next generation of earth scientists to policy makers in government. As part of the communications team I do this by managing our social media channels, engaging with the media and helping to organise events at science festivals up and down the country.

I’m also passionate about crafts so if you need a knitted dinosaur or some geological bunting I’m your geek.
