Summary

Whilst serving within the Royal Navy onboard Vanguard class submarines during a very busy period including complete re-fit at Plymouth Dockyard, full reactor commissioning followed by a strategic missile test fire. I was tasked with maintaining equipment and suggesting improvements for operational success. Accompanied with an apprenticeship at Mactaggart Scott & CO ltd I have become a highly trained Mechanical Technician, with deep experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, trained in hydraulic, gas and liquid power systems, a methodical diagnostician. I have now progressed into a new challenging role within The British Geological Survey, which involves design, fabrication, maintenance and offshore operations.
