Biography

  • 2001 – ongoing : Ingestion of physical and electronic data including NERC Grant Data
  • 2011 – ongoing : Deputy Digital Archive Manager - Checking archive requests metadata and files to ensure validity. Archive suitable files and folders onto the TSM archive system
  • 2011 – ongoing : DECC well registration and updating landwell data in the Oracle system using SQL developer software
  • 2011 – ongoing : DECC Geophysical Log Collection Rationalisation
  • 2005 – ongoing : Register, archive and manage Field work (Field slips and Notebook Index Cards)
  • 2009 – ongoing : Data verification – to improve data quality within BGS
  • 2003 – ongoing : Borehole Registration utilising the 'Scan Reg' application and Sobi Database
  • 2004 –2015 : AGS Data- Processing AGS data through Geodasy software
  • 2004 –2005 : Relocation of Mine Plans - determining the weight of maps and map cabinets. Devised floor plan and organised the move.
  • 2003 –2004 : Missing Logs procedures published in Information Management Newsletter. Deep Mine Scanning-QC and index in line with Coal Authority requirements.
  • 2001 –2003 : QA Assessment for Borehole Scanning Project producing written procedures. QA of Borehole Records - Missing Records found. Missing Logs procedures devised
  • 2015 –2016 : Murchison House Move - Assist with the integration of data transferred from Edinburgh to Keyworth
