A 3D model of subsurface Britain, constructed from information from the 1:625 000 scale geological map, drilling and deep geophyical investigations. It represents ten layers, from Moho (at a depth of around 30km) up to the base of the superficial Quaternary deposits (at a depth of a few metres). Despite its national coverage, the model is consistent with the most detailed interpretations of the shallow geology.
