Sampling a pumped outflow from an abandoned coal mine in East Lothian

BGS carried out investigations of the baseline quality of groundwater in Scottish aquifers over the period 2005 – 2011, as part of a collaboration between BGS and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA). Outputs from this project are available in a series of reports published between 2006 and 2015, which are available for download below. A final report from the project will be available soon.
