Clyde Gateway is a regeneration area that includes a large part of the East End of Glasgow, including Bridgeton, Dalmarnock and Parkhead and plus Rutherglen and Shawfield in South Lanarkshire.
The Clyde Gateway Urban Regeneration Company (CGURC) is a partnership between Glasgow City Council (GCC), South Lanarkshir
In partnership with GCC and CGURC, we have produced a 3D geological model and hydrogeological model for the Clyde Gateway and adjacent areas.
The attributions include lithology and engineering and hydrogeological characteristics. This is particularly important in this area as it has a complex superficial (Quaternary and anthropogenic deposits) and faulted bedrock comprising upper Carboniferous sedimentary and igneous rocks.
