We consist of 2 nodes of the NERC Isotope Geosciences Facilities within the British Geological Survey, comprising the Stable Isotope Facility lead by Professor Melanie Leng and the Geochronology and Tracers Facility lead by Dr Dan Condon.
Our strength lies in the breadth of isotope methods we employ, and the variety of applications we service, including solid earth geoscience, geochronology, pollution, hydrology, climate change, archaeology and forensic/medical studies. We provide advance training to a range of early stage researchers.
Our funding reflects our user community and includes the Natural Environment Research Council's support to universities, the British Geological Survey, the British Antarctic Survey, and a variety of other clients in government, industry and international collaborators.
Please feel free to contact us to discuss possible collaborations. We will be more than happy to explain what we do, and how you can access our expertise and facilities.
