Welcome
to the NIGL website
As head of the NERC Isotope Geosciences Laboratory I welcome you to our website. I hope it will give you an impression of the breadth of
isotope methods we employ, and the variety of applications including
solid earth geoscience, geochronology, pollution, hydrology, climate
change, archaeology and forensic/medical studies.
Our funding reflects our user community and includes the Natural
Environment Research Council's support to universities, the British
Geological Survey, the British Antarctic Survey, and a variety of
other clients in government and industry.
Please feel free to contact us to discuss possible collaborations.
We will be more than happy to explain what we do, and how you can
access our expertise and facilities.
