This report sets out a framework and terminology for classifying and naming lithodemic units composed entirely or predominantly of intrusive rock. It has been written with the geology of the UK in mind, but the principles and definitions recommended here should be applicable globally. The report anticipates a second phase of work, in which a BGS lithodemic classification for onshore intrusions in the UK will be constructed using the recommendations set out here.

DigBath250 is a vector attributed digital bathymetry of United Kingdom (UK) and adjacent European waters. Its purpose is to provide a regional scale digital bathymetry as a primary dataset for geographic information systems (GIS), mapping and modelling of the sea bed and sub seabed. It may also be useful for regional scale tidal, current and water column modelling. It has been produced to a specification for non-navigation applications only. It is available in standard GIS and CAD formats.
