By popular demand, Rockwatch, the national club for young geologists, is back at BGS Keyworth near Nottingham.

This free event, packed with hands-on activities, will run from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 20 March 2010.

Booking is essential for this popular event. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis and numbers limited.

Oceanology International is a major event for the marine science and technology community, which will take place at the ExCel conference centre, London. BGS will be exhibiting here and will be pleased to meet you at our stand.

From Volcanoes to Vineyards: Living with Dynamic Landscapes from 18-21 October, Portland, Oregon USA

We will be demonstrating our full 3D portfolio including the groundbreaking Geovisionary software developed by BGS and Virtalis, as well as the full suite of 3D geological modelling systems used at BGS, including GSI3D. We will also be promoting OneGeology — Making Geological Map Data for the Earth Accessible. Come to Portland and we'll give you a tour through our virtual landscape at the BGS sponsored sessions.
